Objective of the Symposium:

The objective of the symposium is to:

• To address the legal procedures for the establishment of companies in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
• Review the lawyers' approach to the procedures followed by the Directorate of Registration of Companies in the Kurdistan Region.
• Refer to the mechanisms adopted by the Directorate of corporate tax, in the field of tax collection, and the most important problems in the process of collection.
• Review of the most important defects in the Iraqi Companies Law No. 21 of 1997.
